There goes an old tamil song…

“Kannaaa! Karumai nira kanna. Unnai Kaanaadha Kan illaye.
Unnai maruppar illai, kandu veruppaar illai, ennai kandalum poruppar illai”

Literal translation of the song to english…

“Oh Lord Krishna, the one who is dark colored. There are not eyes that dont admire you. There is no one who hates you.
There is no one who has the patience to listen to me and bear with me”

This is a song from an old movie, the context wherein the heroine is a black ugly woman and is considered as a bad omen by all around her.

I just came across this song randomly in my thoughts and found this to be so meaningful and it personally makes so much sense to me as an individual.

We can trust in a piece of stone, an image that we trust and believe and hope is true and is how god exists and looks in that form factor. We do not care how he looks, blue, black or green. He can have snakes around his neck, have the head of a pig or a monkey or a elephant. We don’t care and we pray unto him but we cease to look beyond what a real person… blood and flesh… just like you and me standing right next to you is.

We cannot see beyond that scar, beyond that sign language or beyond that blind stick or crutch or the physical or mental defect that appears at the surface level. There is so much more to a person than the surface of it.

We see what is in that of the shortcoming but we never see the potential that lies around it. We see the difference all of the time but we never make notice of the rest of the things that are similar to us all.

Very funny, how people classify right and wrong and good and bad and ugly and beautiful.

Kids nowadays know more about bees and birds than adults could ever find out, even through practical knowledge.

Thanks to internet. The availability of any kind of porn is now a few clicks away and of course our movies which emphasize of key areas as parts of the body where you need to touch, kiss whatever.. children with the power of learning capabilities that youth offers them are way too far advanced than we adults could ever possibly imagine..

Anyways this post is just a response to this one that my friend posted about a brat. Well the one im gonna talk about is even more of a villain.

This dude was just 9 years old and he is from this rich mallu family that sells timber wood and yeah they got tonnes of cash to spare and no need to teach their kids what and how to speak in public, just the spoilt brat they can ever be…!

So what happens is this kid has a cousin and she gets married. I happen to be staying at their house (dont ask how and why, its a long sad story and i dont wanna get started). Their house is such a big bungalow that they conduct the wedding there in the very house and of course the customary “FIRST NIGHT” unfortunately happens to be conducted in one of the huge rooms in the house.

All is well and the morning after the wedding the bride wakes up and walks out of the room and the oldies have yada yada to do with the bride in the name of some religious practices and our little hero jumps into the picture.

He jumps on top of the huge dining table and shouts (name changed)

“hey swarna, so what did you do last night? your lipstick is all gone and ur hair is all messed up. did you do it”

Before anyone could realize what happened it was all out… the mother says a “Shhhh…” and nothing more. People move on as if nothing really happened…

5 minutes down the line swarna comes out of the restroom and the dude blows out again…

“So give me the details you *****, how did you do it.. step by step”

now things get quite out of hand and in the best interest of everybody we let his pet dog, a huge bulldog out and yelled “Arun jimmy is loose and is on the road, go catch him and put the collar on and get him home…”

enough distraction to get him off the scene and save the bride’s honour…

So much for the fact the actual things the kid said was horrific and gruesome i have tried to moderate the words to my best effort decently and still keep the essence of the story…

Now the million dollar question is…

Who is responsible for this? Is it the parents, is it the kid himself, is it the movies and the society and the people around or is this time that is making things like this happen?

That question remains unanswered for years to come, ever since this happened some 9 years ago…

On another note, this incident would be a landmark in my life…. something so ghastly ironic and funny.. man.. call it a day in hell… this was…!

I dont know what to really say but check this out…

What is the problem really with these people. Why do they have to pray like that standing up in the middle of the plane?

Are these people nuts or what? I would not do that. Even the bhagvad gita wants you to pray as many times as you should.

dang man, im really not getting any comfortable with the muslims of the world now….

Yes, from the dumb ass boring “Dilip Muralidaran” it was i now call my blog as “The Order of the Crutch”.

Why?

Because no one in life has had so much of control on me till date, no one has had so much of importance now that i have to literally depend of them without much options or hope.

No one has made me feel so much weak in such a way no matter how hard i have fallen before. This one entity that i carry seems to be enslaving me now.

Yes, my ELBOW CRUTCH.

So the name. ;-)
